I have participated in the Tour de Pier every year since it’s inception in 2013. Initially I rode because I love spinning and I love philanthropy and both were taking place in our little beach town and was being organized by friends.
So, I rode to support them.
Every year I ride, there is a new “why”.
Each year, my heart expands little more as I invite the stories of survival, support and community into my TdP experience. I ride with the same group of friends who I love and adore. I cry, laugh, sing out loud, count my blessings and dance in front of the stage with my kids when PK is leading the last leg.
I ride because I can do all of that – with all of you – for all of us.
And this year, our kids will ride, too!
