Hi, I’m the Amazing Princess Marley! As many of you know, I was diagnosed with brain cancer at age 2. Not only did I confront this with all my might but I kicked cancer’s ass (my Dad said that bad word not me). Until last year, I was cancer-free.
It pains me to tell you that at age 11, I was been diagnosed with cancer again. This is a direct result of the targeted radiation I underwent when I was two. The scatter from the radiation caused this cancer in my thyroid, which we found out spread to my lymph nodes in 2017. Since then, I have been going through radiation treatment to fight this everything I’ve got. Those of you who know me, know that I will not only tackle this but will once again kick cancer’s ass.
In 2017, I rode at the Tour de Pier and lead one of the highest fundraising teams! My friends, family and community came out support me. I had overwhelming support from Robinson Elementary and all those who know about my story. Thank you – now let’s do it again!
My parents have a tough time asking for things but today we ask you to PLEASE SUPPORT MARLEY!!!
It is our goal to once again be one of the top teams. We will announce the Team Marley costume theme soon for those that want to come out on May 20, 2018 to ride with me. We ask you to donate any amount you can. Remember parents, getting your kids involved as children helping another child is so powerful!
As I always say, please do something nice for someone, you never know what they are going through.
MUCH LOVE and please remember to hug your loved ones a little tighter!
