Dan Henry comes from a very close family, so when his dad was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, it was heartbreaking. He heard about the Tour de Pier through a co-worker and knew it was a great way to honor his dad, an avid cyclist. Dan is part of the Tour de Pier because a friend asked him to join their team.
As Dan says, “I ride the Tour de Pier because it fills my heart.” Riding makes Dan feel closer to his dad, and being part of the community gives him hope for the future. Help someone in your community, invite them to join you at Tour de Pier.
Dan rides for his family and he rides to fill his heart with happiness. Together, we’re making a difference and building a cancer-free future.
